Dr. Todd Bowman
Dr. Bowman was born and raised in Orange County, California. After attending Brigham Young University, he and his new wife Beth, packed up all their belongings in a 1978 Ford Fiesta to begin the long trip to Louisville, Kentucky. In 1985 he graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. The family moved back to Utah and started practicing in Orem. After three years he decided to open a new office in West Valley City. It has been over two decades now that West 56th Dental has been treating patients in their newly remodeled office.

Helping patients achieve the ultimate smile is his utmost goal. Dr. Bowman strives to provide the highest standard of personalized dental care using his skilled training in the latest advances of dental technology. To stay abreast with all that is new in dental science he has attended countless hours of continuing education. He takes a gentle approach, easing any concerns you might have by providing valuable patient education. He listens so he can understand your particular needs. He will work with you to achieve what you want through integrating cosmetic, restorative, and dental implant principles.

Dr. Bowman is very committed to his family, faith, and service to the community. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Beth, for over thirty years. Together they have five handsome boys, each of which have spent many hours in the dental office learning to serve others. Dr. Bowman volunteers his services each year to many of the needy in the West Valley community. He recently returned from a medical mission in Migori, Kenya, where he served hundreds in need of dental and medical treatment. He and his family enjoy traveling, snow skiing, biking and scuba diving.

Dr. Bowman is a member of several dental and medical organizations, including the American Dental Association, Utah Dental Association, and the Wilderness Medical Society.

 

Vonda

Vonda works in the front office and has been in the dental field for the past twelve years, eight of which have been here at West 56th Dental. During her many years in the front office she has become an expert in helping patients understand and maximize their insurance benefits. Patients with ever-changing insurance coverage are fortunate to have Vonda as their advocate. She reviews treatment plans and financing options for all our patients. She really enjoys helping others work towards a better smile and getting to know the many people she works with on a daily basis.

She is married to a wonderful husband, has three great children, and a beautiful granddaughter. She loves spending time with family and playing with her granddaughter. Vonda enjoys shopping and crocheting dresses in her free time.

 

 

 

Beth

Beth entered back into the workforce a year ago after raising her family. She enjoys working at the front desk and interacting with patients as they come into the dental office. She has commented that every day there is something new to learn about interacting with people and working in the field of dentistry.

Beth graduated with an Associate's Degree from Ricks College, and her work experience has varied from being a secretary to a retirement plan specialist. Beth enjoys her most important calling, wife and mother, very much. Her hobbies include scrapbooking, family history, gardening, and outdoor activities.

 

 

 

Sarah

Sarah decided she wanted to be a dental hygienist while in high school. She took a dental assisting class in high school to help her get started in the dental field. After two years of college she was hired here at West 56th Dental as a dental assistant. Two years later she was accepted into the Dental Hygiene Program at Salt Lake Community College. Sarah enjoyed assisting so she worked part time while in hygiene school. She graduated as a Dental Hygienist in the spring of 2004 and switched from assisting at West 56th Dental to Hygiene. That makes a total of over ten and a half years employed here! She loves the dental field and especially loves to help patients with their overall oral health.

She has been married to her wonderful husband, Chip, and has three amazing children. Her hobbies include decorating, shopping, blogging, photography, camping, baking, reading, and anything fun outdoors with her kids.

 

 

Mindy

Mindy has been working in the dental field since 1989. She decided to become a hygienist while working as a dental assistant. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at SLCC in May 1999. Mindy has been seeing Dr Bowman's hygiene patients since Jan. 2002. She feels really lucky to love her job and has enjoyed getting to know many of our great patients. Mindy lives in Herriman with her husband and five kids.

 

 

 

 

Kayla

Kayla completed her pre-dental hygiene education at Utah Valley University. She graduated with her Dental Hygiene degree from Dixie State College in 2010. She is very excited about her new profession and looks forward to many years of serving patients in an effort to help them with their overall health. She prides herself in providing excellent patient care with a caring and sensitive attitude.

Kayla is from Bluffdale, Utah. In her spare time she likes to go camping, shooting, motorcycle riding, and scrapbooking.

 

 

 

Analey

Analey has been in the dental field since she was seventeen years old. She took a dental assisting class in high school just to see how it was and ended up loving dentistry. She feels very lucky to have found Dr. Bowman to further her training. Analey is now studying at Salt Lake Community College to be a dental hygienist. She just finished her first year and has one more year to graduate. She loves being able to help others feel better and more confident when it comes to their smiles.

She enjoys doing anything outdoors, especially camping and fishing. She loves to travel and see new places and recently returned from serving an LDS mission in Uruguay. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys speaking it with all those who know it as well. She hopes to one day be able to go back to South America to visit more places and possibly do some volunteer dentistry.

 

 

 

Giselle

Giselle has been in the dental field for four years, all employed by West 56th Dental. She started working in the front office, and later was given the opportunity to further her skills as a dental assistant. She enjoys working in the back with Dr. Bowman and also in the front office. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys using her native language to communicate with those who are Spanish speakers.

She has one daughter who is nine years old who she adores! She likes traveling to new areas and loves playing and watching soccer. When she’s not at work, she spends time with her husband, daughter, and pit bulls.

 

 

 

Natalie

Natalie has been working at West 56th Dental for almost a year. She was working at Wells Fargo Bank in the grocery store next to the dental office. One day one of the staff from West 56th Dental asked her if she would like to learn dental assisting, and she was very excited to learn a new vocation. She feels very lucky to have the opportunity to get her foot in the door to the dental profession and learn how to be a great dental assistant.

She is fluent in Spanish and loves the opportunity to speak it with the patients. She enjoys dancing and snowboarding.
